Robert Gear's son, Brent Gear D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine - Physician and Surgeon),  is a father for the 4th time. He and his wife Debbie now have four sons; all four of them are all planning a career in the Arizona State Legislature.

Major Robert Gear III, D.O., Arizona Army National Guard, is serving his third tour of duty in Iraq.  His mission is saving lives and providing medical and surgical services to both military and civilian populations.
